- Hello all, I'm 29 and from NY. I'm expecting my first child in February - it's going to be a boy! I guess technically I'm a single mom, I'm not married but me and my boyfriend Paul have been together 5 years now. I love animals and have a house full of pets - all rescues. I do volunteer animal rescue and rehab out of my home, here is my rescue page if anyone is interested in checking it out:

I am also in the process of setting up a little "baby-to-be" webpage to keep everyone updated on the baby. I am currently working as a Pet Nutrition Specialist with Nutro Pet Foods, I'm also a licensed EMT - Paramedic/First Responder and have an Associate's Degree in Biomedical Labratory Technology. I am also finishing my double Bachelor's Degrees from Kaplan University for Forensic Psychology and Terrorism & National Security Management (although I'm currently taking a brief hiatus until after the baby is born). So I have a very varied background.
I hope to make some friends here with other moms and moms-to-be and share some stories and advise because this is all new to me. :)

*Baby Update* ~ I'm being induced tomorrow.....
Hi all, sorry it took so long to do this. I was going to write this over the weekend, but things have been crazy over here and just got even more hectic last night. So without further adieu...
I have an appointment at 4pm tomorrow (2/6) at the hospital to be induced. As some of you may know already, I had surgery in Sept 2005 to remove cancerous legions from my cervix. Unfortunately, the resulting scar tissue is not allowing me to go into labor. So they plan to use a Cervidil patch tre

Sorry I was gone last week. I was busy trying to deal with head l*** again except it wasn't just Tori this time but Vanessa & I!! EEEKKK! I 'm hoping things are good. I'm always so careful. I don't know how I picked them up. I hardly believe that its nearly Thanksgiving & I dont have any plans at all. My van needs to be inspected here by the 30th too. I hope it passes inspection.
So what are you up to for the week? Not alot here. Just trying to get through it. I did get to Ladies… Continue

A Cloudy Day!
How have you been? I've been okay. The kids are okay too. Serena has been exposed to the swine flu . She's living at her boyfriends house & his 5 yr old niece came down with it on Saturday & now Matt Serena's boyfriend ,his nieces dad ,& grandmas hubby all have it. The little girl is over it now & hopefully everyone makes a quick recovery. So far it seems to be fairly mild for them. You must have had your baby by now. Hope all went well.
As a mother of ten, now 27 down to 6, I highly recommend the bacteria/odor removing usefulness of my air purifier I found just 5 years ago. The change in our family's sick days, household odors, and more has been dramatic. With a new little one and your having had past pets in your home; I'd be glad to let you know how to get a free trial of the same air purifier plus explain how it can be bought either at wholesale or your investment repaid to you as you tell others about what you found.
